My art and activism spring from a long enquiry into the meaning of existence in a dynamic environment. I came to the US from London as a student in 1985. I studied under Maya Angelou at Wake Forest University (BA) and then later under Vera Klement and Charles Harrison at The University of Chicago (MFA).
